Introduction: The Victorious Jesus

Revelation 7:9-12 paints a breathtaking picture of heaven, where a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language stand before the throne of God. They are clothed in white robes and hold palm branches in their hands, worshipping and celebrating with joyous shouts of praise. This beautiful scene is a testament to the victorious Jesus, who has made it possible for them to be in heaven.

Someone Told Them the Good News

In this passage, we see that those who find themselves in heaven are there because someone told them the Good News. They are the ones who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour and have been washed in his blood. Their presence in heaven is a direct result of the victorious work of Jesus on the cross.

Sharing the Good News with Others

As believers, this passage serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of sharing the Good News with others. Because of the victorious Jesus, we have the courage and hope to proclaim the Gospel to those around us. We have the assurance that our efforts in sharing the Good News are not in vain, as they can lead others to eternal life and the opportunity to worship and celebrate with God forevermore.

The victory of Jesus over sin and death should motivate us to boldly share the Gospel, knowing that it has the power to transform lives and bring people into a relationship with God. It is a call to action, urging us to step out of our comfort zones and share the love and grace of Jesus with those who desperately need it.

Let us be inspired by the victorious Jesus and find the courage to share the Good News with others. As we do so, we can be confident that our efforts will have an eternal impact, leading others to join the multitude in heaven, worshipping and celebrating the victorious Jesus forever.
