Summary

Do dogs go to heaven? Yes, and we should all share that hope with the people around us who miss their pets so dearly.

Introduction

If you’ve ever had a pet, then you know how deeply we can love them—and how deeply they can love us back. You know I have a vested interest in this question of do dogs go to heaven! The short answer to the question do dogs go to heaven is that yes, dogs do go to heaven and we should all share that hope with the people around us who miss their pets so dearly.

Do Dogs Go to Heaven?

There are many reasons why dogs can go to heaven. While we cannot know for sure, we do know that God loves our pets as much as he loves us. Dogs are spiritual beings who have a relationship with God just like humans do, and this is reflected in their actions here on earth. They love unconditionally and act selflessly, doing good deeds for other creatures without any expectation of reward or recognition from others.

Do dogs go to heaven? Well, I have a wonderful colleague who loves horses. She once told me that a place without horses isn’t heaven. So horses must go to heaven! The same must be true for any pet then, including dogs!

Dogs love for humankind has been recorded throughout Christian history: in particular, Saint Francis of Assisi had a special bond with all creatures including dogs. His example shows how deeply intertwined our lives have been with these furry friends throughout history – so why wouldn’t they continue those relationships beyond death?

God Created Animals So That They Could Love Us, and We Could Love Them

God created animals so that they could love us. And we can love them back. It’s a beautiful thing, and it’s part of God’s plan for us to be happy here on earth.

But there’s more! We can also use this gift of animal love to show our love for God and other people too! The Bible says:

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Romans 8:28 (NLT)

Our Love for Them Will Continue Throughout Eternity in Heaven

Do dogs go to heaven? It’s important to remember that your love for your pets will continue throughout eternity in heaven. Don’t forget that their life on earth was meaningful and filled with love; this means their greatest achievement living well so they could leave behind memories of themselves as good pets who were loved by their owners.

Do Dogs Go to Heaven? Whether They Do or Don’t Their Lives on Earth are Made Even More Meaningful by the Experiences They Share with Their Humans!

Their life of loving others is their greatest achievement. They bring joy and comfort to those around them – and sometimes even strangers! Dogs teach us how to love unconditionally without expecting anything in return. They will always be loyal, even when you’ve forgotten about them for a while (or when they’ve gotten lost). Dogs strengthen our spiritual connection with God by reminding us what’s important in life: serving others through acts of kindness and compassion. Richard Rohr says if you want to know how God looks at you, then gaze into the eyes of your dog!

Conclusion

Do dogs go to heaven? While we may never truly know if dogs go to heaven or not, one thing is certain: their lives on earth are made even more meaningful by the experiences they share with their humans.
