Summary
God has given humans stewardship of his creation. If we want our world to be a better place, we need to start by making small changes in our own lives and communities.
Introduction
God created our beautiful planet, and we have a responsibility to care for it. We are part of the ecosystem and should not harm the land, water or animals that he gave us. The health of the environment is important because it impacts how we live our lives.
Stewardship means we have a duty to God to look after our environment
In the beginning, God created the world. He gave us the responsibility to look for it and make sure it’s in good shape. It’s called stewardship.
God is love. Love is the most important thing in the universe, because without love we would all be nothing more than animals fighting over food and territory. We are all part of God’s creation; therefore we must treat each other with respect and compassion at all times (including animals).
When we destroy the planet, we destroy ourselves
When we destroy the planet, we destroy ourselves.
Our environment is our life support system: if it fails or becomes polluted, so do we. If you don’t believe me, consider this example: every single one of us depends on clean water sources to survive. Our drinking water comes from rivers and lakes. When pollution destroys these resources for good – or even temporarily – we start dying off one by one … and eventually as a species as well!
We have a duty to look after our environment because if we don’t take care of it today then there won’t be anything left for future generations either.
Stewardship means we have a responsibility to future generations
We have a responsibility to future generations. The next generation will inherit our world, and we must look after it for them.
We are stewards of the earth, and we must take care of what God has given us.
The earth is our home, and it’s up to us to ensure that future generations have clean air and water, healthy food sources and ecosystems full of life – all things that can be threatened by climate change if we don’t act now!
Conclusion
We can do better. We must do better. If we want our world to be a better place, we need to start by making small changes in our own lives and communities. By taking care of ourselves and others, we’ll be able to make long-term impacts on the environment through conservation efforts like recycling or planting trees where they’re needed most – and this is just the beginning!
