Summary
It’s hard to stay on top of the many leadership and productivity articles published each week. To help you become the best leader possible, here are three articles I found helpful this week:
Using Your Influence for Good by Rick Warren
“God expects you to be a good steward of everything he has given, including your influence. He wants you to use your influence to help others. What is influence? It’s not fame. You can be famous and not influential. Many people know celebrities, but they don’t care what they think. It’s also not wealth. You can’t buy influence. The Cambridge Dictionary defines influence as the power “to affect how someone or something develops, behaves, or thinks.” God expects you to use that kind of influence for good. How can you do that? Start with these three steps.”
Your Church Is Big Enough by Karl Vaters
“Are you a small church pastor? Me too. Have you ever felt like that’s not enough? Me too. Today I have good news for both of us. Your church is big enough. Right now. Today. At its current size. Your church is big enough to do what Jesus is calling you to do, and to be who he’s calling you to be. Your church is big enough to minister the healing grace of Jesus to its members. And you have enough members to take that healing grace to your community in an overflow of joy, hope and healing.”
5 Things Productive People Do in the Morning by Josh Reich
“We all want to accomplish more, to make the most of our lives and the hours of our day. Productive people accomplish more than everyone else, and it isn’t because they have less to do or more hours in the day. They do specific things that everyone does not do. Here are five things productive people do in the morning.”
