Read Matthew 28:1-10. One of the hot topics now is scamming and those who fall victim to it. Some people have lost thousands of pounds worth of their savings paying money over to imposters who have scammed money from them through seemingly legitimate purposes.
Once you know about these scams it makes you sceptical about many of the promises you see. Sometimes, things seem too good to be true. Perhaps that’s how you feel about Jesus and his promises. Could he really make right our relationship with God and make the world perfect again?
His resurrection shows us that he is indeed who he says he is. He is the living Christ who rules God’s eternal Kingdom from heaven. Jesus is not a scammer. He is not a false prophet. He is not an imposter. He is God’s Son. He came to die for your sins and mine and he did. Jesus kept his word. His resurrection split history in two. It changed my life, and it can change yours too. You can rely on Jesus to be who he says he is.
Think It Over
Think about the following:
• Why is the resurrection proof that Jesus is God as he says he is?
